![]() I know that Regiments’ choice to use mounted infantry as a single unit is rooted in doctrine, and I totally support that. My assumption is that in a tactical sense, roads are pretty important, especially as not all vehicles in the games are tracked.Ģ) Warno is reeeeeeally granular compared to Regiments. Chokepoints and strategic locations are then kind of meaningless except as capture points. Regiments abstracts them out to a degree that makes me very skeptical. Some points that I’m considering, and am very open to being challenged on:ġ) Warno lets you utilize roads, chokepoints, and urban areas that make some semblance of sense. But I still love utilizing plausible strategies and some level of realism in how its implemented, so my question maybe ought to be “Does Warno or Regiments better allow/incentivize realistic tactics, and if both suck, should I just get Armored Brigade?” ![]() Both Regiments and Warno feel a lot more engaging and satisfying to me, and the visuals are a big part of that. HOWEVER, because I’m a super casual basic bitch of a gamer, visual aspects are kind of important to me. I’ll say first that I recognize Armored Brigade is probably going to win on a purely ‘realistic’ point of view, given the way its designed.
